Another fantastic year for the National Powerboat Association "NPBA" at the NY Hudson River Poker Run !
Festivities started out on Friday June 13th with the honoring of the NPBA Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony. It was great to see such a gathering of the icon racers from back in the '80s and those that are still racing today...
The Poker Run kicked off around Noon on Saturday with the sound of pure horsepower rumbling the George Washington Bridge.
Off to lead the pack was the Fountain Powerboat called "Boat Show Direct" which was soon passed by a Skater named Maxed Out. The top 3 boats to navigate to the Tappan Zee Bridge were Maxed Out, Boat Show Direct and the new 41 ft Leggera by Outerlimits Powerboats powered by Twin Mercury 700's.
