OPA Patchogue, NY Offshore Race

I attended the race in Patchogue, NY and the attendance this year by the racers and the spectators was huge over last year ! My hat is off to everyone that put this race on the map !

It serves as a great location for spectators to have such a great view of the course and the City of Patchogue was thrilled will the tunout of people and racer alike.

On a sad note, Sharkey-Images would like to extend their condolences to Team Aero Express. Both Phil Dejana and Kevin Graff were killed on impact when they lost control of their race boat coming down the straight away between turn 1 and turn 2.
Our prayers are with them and their families at this time of sadness.
